Hand Forged Silver Ring: Sterling Silver Handmade Artisan Jewelry

Unique ring hand forged in sterling silver, with a hammered antiqued finish. Forging is my favorite process, and I enjoy making this Enso style ring. It is a forged tapered line formed into a circle with a hammered antiqued finish. This ring has a bold presence and is very comfortable to wear. A great jewelry gift for him or add it to your own collection.

Width- 10.4mm on the top, and 4.8 mm on the bottom. (.4 inches wide on top)

Process:
This ring is handmade with care by me in my home studio. I love forging, and silver is my favorite metal to forge. This ring is forged from 4mm sterling silver square stock. It is sculptural and changes depending on the point of view. There is a small opening between the narrow and wide inside edge of the ring. Because this ring is forged, it is work hardened by the hammering, for this reason it will hold its shape well over time. The surface is antiqued with satin polished surface. This beauty reminds me of tree bark.
